Nashville: The Commodores dropped the Horned Frogs in a thriller with a much needed win in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge. The Commodores were led by huge games from Riley LaChance and Jeff Roberson. Vanderbilt kept fighting throughout the game and showed the drive that head coach Bryce Drew had been wanting all year. Vanderbilt shot 52% from the field and an impressive 44% from three point land. The Commodores will have a tough challenge this week with two difficult road games starting at Kentucky on Tuesday, and on the road at Auburn on Saturday.
Interesting stats of the game:
Vanderbilt- 31-59 FG, 52.5%, 11-25 3FG, 44%, 8-9 FT, 88.9%, 21 rebounds
TCU- 35- 63 FG, 55.6%, 8-23 3FG, 34.8%, 0-0 FT, 0.0%, 36 rebounds
Players of the game:

Random fact of the game:
For only the 15th time in college basketball history, TCU did not attempt a free throw all game. To show how rare this feat is, it has never happened in the NBA. However, TCU stayed in the game by out-rebounding the Commodores by 15.
The SEC closed the SEC/Big 12 Challenge on top with several big wins and a 6-4 record. The Commodores hope to build off this win tonight and pull an upset this week.
