Nashville: The Commodores were led by Riley LaChance, who had a monster game, scoring 26 points and nailing four out of seven three pointers. Vanderbilt led for all but 21 seconds, when LSU jumped ahead by one point with 2:21 to play in the game. Vanderbilt completely dominated the game from the opening tip to the final horn. The Commodores showed great poise and grit as they got a much-needed SEC win. The Commodores now look to salvage the season and make a run in the closing weeks. With six weeks until St. Louis, Bryce Drew and company still have a lot to prove, but today’s win is definitely a great starting point.
