Oxford, Mississippi:
Before the big football game on Saturday, Ole Miss fans will get a rare treat with a doubleheader on Friday afternoon when both Basketball teams hit the hardwood.
The first game of the doubleheader will be the Lady Rebels taking on New Orleans Privateers.
The Lady Rebels will look to stay undefeated ( 3-0) on Friday afternoon. Friday's game will be the 6th meeting between the two programs with the Rebels holding a 5-0 all-time record over New Orleans.
The first half of the doubleheader will tip-off at 3:00 and can be seen on SEC+ online.
For the second half of the doubleheader, the Ole Miss Men's basketball team will take on the Western Michigan Broncos.
The Matchup Friday night will feature two undefeated teams playing for the second time in program history. The first meeting came in 2018 and saw the Rebels earn a 90-64 victory over the Broncos in the first game under Head Coach Kermit Davis.
The Rebels come into the game with Western Michigan ranked 5th in the country in scoring defense, only allowing 49 points per game.
Ole Miss has also forced 20 turnovers in the first two games of the season.
In the 68-55 win over Norfolk State, the trio of Breein Tyree, Devontae Shuler, and KJ Buffen combined for 56 points.
The Western Michigan Broncos are led by preseason First Team All-MAC Michael Flowers. Flowers leads the Broncos in scoring at 25.3 points per game, ranking him 17th in the country.
The Broncos are coming off a 91-81 road win at Mississippi Valley State on Tuesday night.
Ole Miss will head into the game with Western Michigan, a twenty point home favorite.
The Rebels and Broncos will tip-off at 6:00 from The Pavilion in Oxford, Mississippi. The game can be viewed online on the SEC Network+.
