Most of the Big Ten’s best were off in Week 10 with Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and Michigan State all on a bye week. Northwestern and Rutgers each lost their seventh game of the season and will not make a bowl game. Maryland fell to six losses after losing to Michigan, while Purdue beat Nebraska to get to 3-6. Illinois is now 5-4 heading into a game against 4-4 Michigan State. After their loss, Nebraska is 4-5 and with games against Wisconsin and Iowa remaining, I don’t believe that they will make a bowl game this season. Below are my current projections for what bowl games each Big Ten team will make.
Ohio State: Fiesta Bowl (College Football Playoff Semifinal) vs LSU
Penn State: Rose Bowl vs Oregon
Wisconsin: Citrus Bowl vs Auburn
Michigan: Outback Bowl vs Texas A&M
Iowa: Holiday Bowl vs Arizona State
Minnesota: Gator Bowl vs Mississippi State
Indiana: Redbox Bowl vs Washington
Michigan State: Pinstripe Bowl vs Pittsburgh
Illinois: Quick Lane Bowl vs Boston College
