With only one week remaining in the regular season, the Big Ten has seven bowl eligible teams. Illinois lost to Iowa last week to join Rutgers and Nebraska as the Big Ten teams who have seven or more losses and will miss a bowl. Maryland, Indiana, Purdue, and Minnesota are each 5-6 and have one game left to get to a bowl. Purdue and Indiana play next week, and I predict that Purdue wins and gets to a bowl. Maryland goes to Penn State and Minnesota plays Wisconsin on the road, and I predict that they both lose. The Big Ten will have eight teams playing in bowl games this season.
