Man, let me tell you something. On Sunday Cam had that offense rolling in the 4th quarter. Although the Panthers had a slow start, Cam did not let that slow down his confidence one bit! The Panthers were down 17-0 going into the 4th quarter vs the Super bowl champion Eagles, and the biggest comeback in franchise history the Panthers won 21-17. Quarterback Cam Newton was LIT in the forth quarter when he was 16-22 in completions for 201 yards and two touchdowns. Lets not forget about that Panther defense that gave the offense the momentum with those big stops. Luke Kuechly led the team in tackles in this win with 12 tackles. That victory put the Panthers at (4-2) which puts them 2nd place behind the Saints.
After the game a lot of player were comparing this win to loss last week vs Washington. Most of the players were making statements saying they felt like they were giving a second chance. “God works in mysterious ways,” Newton said of the largest fourth quarter comeback in Panthers history. “I believe in putting good energy in the Earth and knowing that when that opportunity presents itself again you better be ready for it.” I don’t know about you guys, but I’m excited to see what the Panthers can do next week against Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens.
