Memphis also got the offense rolling on Saturday starting in the bottom half of the 4th inning where the Tigers jumped out to a 4-1 lead and never looked back for a second adding three runs to that lead to finish out the game with a 7-2 win to even the series. Memphis finished the game with 12 hits, 7 RBI's, 3 Strikeouts and 7 runs.
Memphis and Baylor will square off tomorrow at 1:00 central time for the series decider at FedExPark in Memphis. Heading into tomorrow's game the weather will likely play a huge factor in the game as the temperatures will drop to 49 degrees at first pitch, which will likely make the ballpark play smaller. The key heading into the rubber match tomorrow will be who can make the small plays on both sides of the field with it being so cold. If Memphis can pull out a victory this could very well be a momentum changer for the rest of the season for the Tigers.
Getting the start for the Tigers tomorrow will be Alex Hicks who is 2-5 on the season with an ERA of 6.63 and 37 strikeouts on the season.
