Frisco: Western Kentucky Lady Toppers overcame a feisty North Texas Mean Green team on Friday night in the Women's Conference USA semifinal game to advance to Sunday's championship game where they will face the UAB Blazers. The Lady Toppers are playing for a back to back title crown as they face the Blazers on Saturday night in Frisco.

Western Kentucky- Sidnee Bopp was the key for a Tops victory on Friday night. Bopp came off the bench and drained two huge three pointers for WKU. Bopp's defense was the crucial factor in a huge win for the Tops, she played with great grit and grind that is very rare to find in players nowadays. Bopp finished the night with 10 points, 3 assist, and played 29 crucial min.
Saturday night at the Star will be very fun for Hilltopper fans on the men's and women's side as both teams are playing for a title for the first time since 2008, Western is also the only school in Kentucky with both teams playing for a conference crown.
