Frisco: Western Kentucky holds on to beat Old Dominion 57-49 in a very hard fought game by both teams. Western Kentucky got the upper hand in this highly anticipated C-USA men's semifinal. Western Kentucky was led by Justin Johnson who led the Hilltoppers with 19 points, 7-12 from the field, and made WKU history by joining the 1,000 point club first Hilltopper to do such since 1971 when WKU legend Jim McDaniels did such.
Western Kentucky and Marshall will be meeting for the third time this with the first going in favor of the Hilltoppers. One thing is for certain when these two teams tip off Saturday night it will be must watch TV in the C-USA. Will WKU win a third straight over the Thundering Herd? Or will Marshall pull off a massive upset and earn a spot in the NCAA tournament? Tune in tomorrow at 7:30 on the CBS Sports Network to find out.
