Rebels Outlast Gamecocks in SEC Opener

Oxford: On a frigid Mississippi night the Rebels met the Gamecocks for a must win SEC opener. In a game that was back and forth the Rebels finally took a slight lead and didn’t look back. Ole Miss won 74-69 to start SEC play 1-0 and move to 8-5 overall on the season. With the loss South Carolina fell to 9-4 on the season and 0-1 to start SEC play. Both teams still have a lot of prove - especially Ole Miss who is starting to find who they are and what they are capable of doing this season.
