Meet the No Huddle Team: Deric Green

Next up on our list of writers for you to get to know is Deric Green. Deric is the newest member of the No Huddle Team, as you will read before Deric is a big golf fan and fan of Indiana based sports teams. You can follow Deric on twitter at @deric83green.

College Attended: I attend Ball State University and I am in my first year of graduate school studying Sport Administration. Favorite teams: Notre Dame Football, IU Basketball, and The Indiana Pacers.

Favorite retired athlete: Michael Jordan. I grew up loving MJ and one of my favorite memories was watching Jordan play in Indianapolis during his retirement year with the Wizards. Favorite current athlete: Justin Thomas on the PGA Tour. I’ve met JT a few times and he’s a cool dude. I’ve watched him since his college days at Alabama and I knew he was going to be a stud and here his coming off a season of a lifetime last year on Tour winning the POY and FedEx If you could have one team win a national title who would it be: it would be Notre Dame football. I grew up an ND fan because of my dad and we watch every game together on Saturdays. He’s seen ND win 4 national titles so now it’s my turn to see them win one. One sporting event I want to attend before I die: The Masters. I’m a huge golf fan but tickets to the Masters are extremely hard to come upon because they are extremely expensive If you could have one player from another team play for your favorite team who would it be: One player I wish the Pacers could get would be Gordon Hayward. I loved watching Hayward play at Butler and I would love to see him back in Indy with the Cers. Favorite sports movie: Remember the Titans no question.
